Markets and Community's market tour this month was at Piccadilly Market on Sunday, 14th June 2015 at Malvern Town Hall.  This was the first time Piccadilly Market had a market in Melbourne instead of their usual destination in Geelong.

Tonight, Friday 15th November 2013 brings about a huge range of twilight markets across the suburbs of Melbourne.

Markets and Community have decided to take the opportunity to have a mini-market at Melbourne’s largest festival for women called GO Festival.  With over 5000 women expected to walk through the doors, we have jumped on board as an exhibitor and given the market organisers in Victoria, online businesses and stallholders an opportunity to feature their products, advertise in showbags and to take part in a magazine that we are going to handout aswell from our booth.

Proudly presented by Warratahs Tree is the newest craze, Social Art Working Party.

Girls, Ladies, Women, Mothers, Sisters and Girlfriends will be flocking into the Melbourne Showgrounds on the 12th & 13th of October 2013 to enjoy the Girls Only Festival. A festival celebrating women and giving women a chance to let their hair down relax and enjoy a day of pampering and fun.

I have finally had the chance to visit Huckleberry Market held at Cardinia Cultural Centre in Pakenham an outer South Eastern suburb in Melbourne, that has a growing population of young families which is the perfect target market for this baby and children’s market.

The Market business has once again started to boom. With many craft, farmers and community markets popping up around Victoria and nationally it gives the small businesses opportunities to market and showcase their businesses.

A market running weekly for 30 years is something that you have to be proud of, especially a market that runs alongside retail traders on a main street.

CWA Doreen is a community run organisation, a subsidiary of the larger Country Women’s Association of Victoria Inc. (Association) which is part of the largest women’s organisation in Australia.  It aims to improve conditions by community service more especially as they affect the welfare of women and children.

As part of Markets and Community’s vision, we would like to offer training and networking opportunities to our advertised markets and businesses.

We take pride in working closely with the markets and businesses and from this we believe that these businesses need some help to take the next step especially when it comes to marketing and social media.  We are working with some amazing speakers to tailor an event especially for these businesses.

Round She Goes is an award-winning preloved fashion market for women. At Round She Goes you can buy preloved designer and quality vintage fashion and accessories from different stallholders. There is also locally designed jewellery and accessories and even some cool craft. Round She Goes has become a not-to-be-missed event!

Markets and Community enjoyed being part of the inaugural event of Bentleigh Farmers Market. The community were thrilled when they found out there was a farmers market coming to their neighbourhood and certainly showed their support on the day.

Croydon Farmers Market which is run by the Regional Farmers Market is a lovely little farmers market with delicious food.  The stalls are all gourmet with something very special on offer for everyone.  The market is set up systematically where you can start from one side and finish on the other side.

Markets and Community are taking part at the GO Festival held in Melbourne on the 16th & 17th of February.

We have decided to take up this opportunity to exhibit on behalf of Markets, Stallholders and Small Businesses that would never get an opportunity to show their business to such a large audience of 10,000+ women.
