Grassroots Market are a group of locals who love markets! And we don’t want to have to travel too far to go to one. So we thought we’d start our own here in Upwey. Upwey is on the southern side of the Dandenong Ranges, east of Melbourne, Australia. It’s a local place with local services and a great village atmosphere. Markets are great because you get to meet the person behind the product. Our market is fun, interactive, lively and a good alternative to shopping centres. It is also very local. Markets are also a good way for communities to grow and develop, and for new, young, sometimes raw talent to get a start with the product they are passionate about. The market is family and dog friendly, so please consider coming along and seeing the array of local talent we have on show.
