St Brigid’s is a completely community-based initiative run by tireless volunteers Helen Scott and Julie Farrell on behalf of Catholic Parish of Branxton Greta. All proceeds from site fees go towards the upkeep and maintenance of St Brigid’s church. An institution in Branxton, local markets have been held regularly since 2010, originally started by the local Lions Club. St Brigid’s Markets continue to fly the flag, operating every 3rd Sunday of the month. Hunt for treasures, home wares and locally made arts, crafts, candles, jewellery, clothing and gifts and many more! St Brigid’s Markets are the only monthly markets in Branxton and is the place where all the AMAZING talent located in Branxton and the surrounding Hunter Valley region is showcased in the one spot! If selling food, need all requirements for food safety certificates and for Cessnock City Council rules.
